Dr. Patrick Rice from SharkDefense obtained this bull shark embryo from a shark fisherman in Key West on Thursday, April 7, 2011. The embryo shows two heads, three dorsal fins, and a single, highly-deformed caudal fin. The shark fisherman found this pup after cleaning a pregnant female, and contacted Patrick. Some of her pups were returned alive. It is not known if the deformed pup was viable at the time of discovery.
